Brendan graduated from Queen’s University Belfast, and the Institute of Professional Legal Studies. He was admitted to the Roll of Solicitors in 1983 and the same year joined Flynn & McGettrick and became a partner in 1986 .
He qualified as an Advanced Advocate in 2000
Brendan specialises in all aspects of criminal law advising clients through PACE by attending at police stations and representation, at all court tier levels including County Court High Court and Court of Appeal. He is regarded as one of the most experienced criminal lawyers in Northern Ireland.
He also advises clients in personal injury claims arising out of accidents at work, road traffic accidents, and tripping accidents.
Brendan is based in both our Clarence Street and Falls Road offices.
